Preventive Maintenance
A robust Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) program significantly reduces system failures, as unscheduled outages occur three times more often in systems that lack regular maintenance. PPM allows for planned, controlled downtime, avoiding unexpected disruptions. At Elegancia Data Center, all maintenance is strictly performed according to manufacturer guidelines, O&M manuals, SFG-20 standards, and relevant national and international regulations.
Corrective Maintenance
The corrective maintenance covers both palliative operations (troubleshooting) and corrective operations (repair) on the installations.
The management of corrective maintenance is based on the following principles:
- Rapid and functional intervention
- Compliance with response time
- Study of the failure
- Cause analysis
- Availability of the critical equipment
- Improvement proposal

Helpdesk Service
As part of our commitment to operational excellence, EDCS provides a 24/7 Help Desk service accessible via email, landline, and web interface. Serving as a centralized hub for all Facility Management (FM) data and communication, the Help Desk acts as a single point of contact for logging reactive maintenance requests, submitting general FM inquiries, or reporting issues related to performance, security, and other critical systems within MEEZA’s data center facilities.
Integrated within the CAFM platform, the Help Desk system enables seamless request logging, tracking, escalation, and reporting. Authorized users can access the system via the web for real-time monitoring and accurate SLA performance tracking. Upon receipt of a request through the CAFM web portal, the system automatically generates an acknowledgment and assigns a unique reference ID. For requests received via email or phone, Help Desk operators manually log the information to ensure consistent service and response.
