Engr. Moharram Salem is a highly accomplished senior executive with over 33 years of experience in the commercial kitchen, laundry, and electromechanical sectors. His career is defined by strategic leadership, technical expertise, and a strong track record of delivering complex projects and driving organizational growth across diverse markets.
He currently serves as General Manager of Elegancia Kitchens, where he leads operations, strategic planning, and team development. In this role, he oversees the delivery of bespoke kitchen and laundry solutions for hospitality, food service, commercial, and luxury residential projects, ensuring excellence in performance, quality, and client satisfaction.
Previously, Engr. Salem was Managing Director and Partner of Al Fajr Kitchen, a reputable company specializing in commercial and domestic kitchen equipment and stainless steel kitchen and laundry solutions. During his tenure, he played a key role in expanding the company’s market presence, strengthening operational efficiency, and enhancing its industry reputation.
Engr. Salem has extensive international experience, having led projects across Europe (Italy, Spain), the GCC (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, and the UAE), North Africa (Algeria, Egypt, Morocco), and Africa (Gambia, Ethiopia, and Senegal). He is widely recognized for his strategic vision, sound judgment, and ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, positioning him as a respected leader in his field.
