Paul Welford is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 25 years of global experience, including 13 years at executive level. He specialises in transforming health systems by driving strategic change that enhances health outcomes, expands access and improves revenue, efficiency and sustainability. His work spans eight countries across the UK, Middle East and Australasia, where he adapts best practices to local contexts.
In Qatar, Paul recently led startup operations of the Military Medical City Hospital and previously achieved five years of double-digit growth in the national healthcare system. In Saudi Arabia, he managed operations for 20 hospitals and over 140 primary care centers, improving key functions such as supply chain, engineering and capital development. He also led public-private partnerships to launch new hospitals.
